Until now, the owner of the jewellery company Flora Danica, Vagn Ibsen from Klampenborg near Copenhagen, purchased his packaging for the exclusive jewellery collection directly in China.
Westpack for Brands took over this job. The result is high quality, lower price and high supply security.
- I am very satisfied because I get my boxes and displays at prices much lower than the prices that I could have obtained myself. There is excellent supply security on all articles and in all quantities. Also Westpack has taken over a remote warehouse function for us, so now we do not need extra storage room for say 20,000 boxes. Now we can get the boxes within a couple of days and just the quantity that we need at the given time, says Vagn Ibsen.
In the development process, Westpack has supported Vagn Ibsen with a new jewellery box for SAS. The box has a transparent lid so that the customer can see the jewellery without needing to take off the lid or the jewellery out of the box, while she is seated on the plane.
This gives the customer a special experience and security, and it shows that a beautiful and thought-through packaging can play a part in enhancing the value of a perhaps already precious gift.
- When we sell jewellery, it is important that it is nicely packed and presented. That the packaging is cool, adds an extra dimension to the jewellery. Both fantasy and quality are characteristics of Westpack, so here we have a real win-win situation, says Vagn Ibsen.
